Zeitgeist is a good film although it's been criticized for using deceptive tactics and anecdotal evidence - see wiki. Humans create gods and religion to explain the world and our place in it, that much is obvious, so it's a shame that Zeitgeist didn't take more of a scientific approach to the whole matter instead of relying on cheap conspiracy theory tactics to get their point across. Still recommended viewing though.
